HerOwlie started in a living room, between a mother and a daughter who had survived something they never thought they'd live through. We come from a tight-knit family of women - mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces - and a community of more women who held us up when we couldn't stand on our own.
Every product we make is for them. For you. For the woman who deserves to feel a little braver on the walk home.
A personally heartbreaking statistic

That's not just a CDC number. It's our mothers. Our daughters. Our friends. It includes us, too. We built HerOwlie because the silence around this statistic is what keeps survivors isolated - and we refused to let another woman feel alone in it.

It's personal
I was attacked outside my home when Emma was 15.
It happened in broad daylight. My 15-year-old daughter called 911 while I lay bleeding on the ground. She was the brave one when her mom couldn't be.
We both went to therapy. We both had nightmares. And in those darkest moments, we found each other differently - and decided to build the community we couldn't find anywhere else.
